The Home Improvement Advisory Service provided a complete managed project to the home-owners of this semi-detached property. This included initial architectural work (planning permission, building regulations drawings and subsequent approval, and structural calculations). The proposed extension was to provide a front porch, side garage, utility room, and rear sun-room.

On this extension our team managed the entire project, from organising the digging out for foundations, organising plant hire, managing tradesmen including brick-layers, site joiners and roofing contractors electricians, plumbers etc.

Our service provided the client with a complete package from initial architectural services through to final decoration and the laying of floor coverings. The overall duration of the project was 18 weeks.

As a result of careful specification and management the cost of the overall project came within budget by a margin of £3000 - less than the client's expectation.
